Bommajung is a service of Destarlink LLC. Last updated: November 1, 2026
What we collect
- From you: name, phone number, email, birth year, city and ZIP code, photos, 30-second voice intro, the gender you want to meet, your messages, and your answers to profile questions.
- From the ID check: pass or fail, 18 or older, birth year, the date, and one-way coded values of your phone number, ID number with issuing state, and name with date of birth (see our Biometric and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy).
- From your device: sign-in records (device type, IP city) kept 90 days, and a one-way coded value of your phone or IP for abuse limits, kept 2 days.
From the Stripe ID check, we receive only your birth year (to show an age range like "late 60s" and to match members by age). Your full date of birth is kept only as part of a one-way coded value used to stop banned members from joining again. We never keep your ID image, your selfie, or the face scan. Stripe keeps some of this data for its own fraud prevention and security, as explained in our Biometric and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
If a state is not open yet and you join the waiting list, we keep your phone number and state only to send you one text when we open, and we delete them within 30 days after that text.
If a refund to your card fails, we keep your name and mailing address until we return the money to you or report it to the state as unclaimed property, as the law requires.
Why
- To run the service: show your profile, suggest members, open chats.
- To keep members safe: check identity, find scams in messages, stop banned members from joining again.
- To contact you: service notices, and reminders or safety alerts if you turned them on.
- To follow the law and handle disputes.
Who we share with
- Other members: your profile, photos and voice intro, as you choose to show them.
- Service providers that work for us: Stripe (ID check and payments), our hosting provider, our text message provider, and AI services for speech-to-text, chat safety review and phone support. They may not use your data for their own purposes or to train AI models.
- Stripe also keeps ID check data for its own fraud prevention, as explained in our Biometric and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for advertising.

Your rights
You can see, correct, download or delete your information, and withdraw a consent you gave, at any time in Settings or by writing to privacy@bommajung.com. We answer within 45 days. You can also turn off profile-based suggestions in Settings. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. If you are not satisfied, you can appeal to appeals@bommajung.com, and you may contact your state attorney general.
